OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A narcotics search warrant investigation led to an arrest on Monday.

The members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-agency Drug Task Force along with the assistance of the Criminal Investigations Section conducted a search warrant at 8540 Highway 189 in Baker.

During a search of the home, investigators said they located a trafficking amount of fentanyl, cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, evidence of distribution, and approximately eight pounds of marijuana.


Milton man facing life in prison on 4 counts of sexual assault on a minor

According to a news release, 45-year-old Kevin Lee McKinney has been charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and Possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

The Multi-Agency Drug Task Force is comprised of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Crestview Police Department, Niceville Police Department, and Fort Walton Beach Police Department.
