If you’re looking for the blues at Bluesfest, you’ll have to venture away from the main stage. On Friday, check out the air-conditioned intimacy of the Barney Danson theatre (inside the Canadian War Museum), where the reenergized Ottawa singer-guitarist Jesse Greene performs with her new band at 8 p.m., warming up the stage for Southern Avenue, a soulful, Memphis-based band that brings a fresh new perspective to the blues.
